What is profile matching?
Older homes are full of timber profiles the big stores stopped making, scotia, architraves, skirting, weatherboards and window sills. Profile matching means we take your existing piece, or a photo and measurements of it, and machine new timber to the exact same shape.
The result blends in so well that a repair or extension looks original. No compromise, no "close enough", just the right profile in the right timber.

What do you need from me to match a profile?
A physical sample is best. If you cannot remove one, a straight-on photo with clear measurements (width, height and key depths) works well.
What timber can you machine?
Recycled rimu, matai, cedar and pine, plus kiln-dried options. We will recommend the right one for your use and finish.
How long does it take?
Lead time depends on the timber and complexity. We will confirm it when we quote.
