Very little demand and it cannot be re-machined for interior work.

Old lining board, soffits, textured ceilings and sheet vinyl. This needs a licensed removalist, not a salvage yard.

If it crumbles, flexes or smells damp, it will not survive re-machining.

It depends on timber type, condition, quantity and what we are short of at the time. Native timber, sash windows and solid doors carry the most value. Send photos and we will give you a real number rather than a vague range.
Do I have to remove it myself?
Not always. For worthwhile loads we can arrange removal, especially if the material is being taken out carefully. If you are pulling it out yourself, take your time - clean, undamaged material is worth more.
Do you pick up outside New Plymouth?
We cover Taranaki for pickups. Further afield depends on the size and value of the load, so ask and we will tell you straight.
What if it's only a small amount?
Still worth asking. A single leadlight window or a bundle of matai flooring can be exactly what someone is hunting for. Small loads are usually dropped to the yard rather than picked up.
How do I get paid?
On collection, once the material is loaded and confirmed. No waiting on the material to sell first.
What if you say no?
Then you have lost nothing but a couple of photos. Where we can, we will point you at someone who does want it, so it still stays out of the tip.
